We have decided to run a fantasy cricket league for the coming season based on our own players and their performances. We thought this could be a fun way to raise a bit of money for the club as well as encourage more of an interest in each other’s performances on a Saturday.

It’s £10 to enter a team for the whole season and anyone can take part. Half of the money will go to the club and the other half into the prizes for the winner as well as 2^nd and 3^rd place in the league. So the more people play, the more the club raises and the more money you stand to win if your team comes out on top at the end of the season. If there is more than one winner the prize money will be shared out equally between the winners.

To play simply select any 11 of the following players listed, making sure that you do not exceed the budget of 60m. Their points will be scored in the league for Baildon 3s, 4s and 5s games throughout the season and will be posted regularly on the webpage and in the dressing room at the ground.

How points are scored:

10 points for playing a game

1 point for each run scored

An additional 15 points for scoring a fifty in an innings

An additional 30 points for scoring a hundred in an innings

-5 points for being out without scoring in an innings

50 points per wicket taken

-1 point per run conceded

An additional 20 points for taking five wickets in an innings

An additional 40 points for taking a hat-trick in an innings

5 points per catch taken

10 points per fielding point

25 points per stumping

You have the opportunity to make 2 free player transfers at any point during the season. Simply fill out a transfer slip and hand it in to one of the team captains or email us with your transfer request. Your transferred player will then start scoring points for your team from that date onwards.

You can now register your Fantsy League Team online. Select the 'Pick your team' section of the Fantasy League, pay for the game you want to play using Paypal and you will receive an email with attached application form. Fill out your team and email it back to us. When your team is registered you will receive confirmation and a scoring chart. Happy team selecting!!
