Welcome to Baildon Cricket Club, formed in 1850 we are situated in the village of Baildon in the county of West Yorkshire, England, north of Bradford, and in the metropolitan borough of Bradford. Originally formed as Baildon Green Cricket and Skating Club, our first home was on Green Road, which doubled in winter as a Skating Club. For the first forty-odd years the club only played friendly matches, but in 1893 joined the Airedale and Wharfedale League and in 1910 entered the Bradford League.

In 2007, a merger between Baildon CC and Baildon Meths CC took place, creating 5 senior teams at the club and expanding the potential for youth to develop.
This site is run in conjunction with our sister site www.baildoncricketclub.com and here we will mainly focus on the 3 teams in the Dales Council League and the team playing in the Bradford and District Evening League still retaining the name of Baildon Meths.
Above is our West Lane ground situated to the rear of Sandal School, Baildon. This ground plays host to Baildon's 3rd, 4th and 5th teams playing in the Dales Council League on a weekend and Baildon Meths in the Bradford & District Evening League on a Wednesday evening. Baildon's 1st and 2nd XI's compete in the Bradford Cricket League in their respective A Divisions and play their home games at the Jenny Lane ground which is also the location of the clubhouse and bar.
League games for all teams take place on Saturdays as well as some Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays. The club also enters several cup competitions, the 1st and 2nd XI's play in the Priestley Cup and Shield as well as the Heavy Woollen and Crowther Cup respectively. The 3rd team partake in the Pool Paper Mills Cup whilst the 4th and 5th teams enter the Cawthorne Cup.
Selection of all 5 senior teams takes place on Tuesday nights during the season following senior practice. Selected teams are then posted on the cricket notice board in the club house following selection on the night.
